Salary Information

Salary Schedule:

$90,894 - $119,610* Annually

*Starting salary is negotiable for most entry officers.

*Longevity and Specialty incentives are not shown in this table, as entries will not qualify immediately for these add-ons.

Physical Fitness Incentive Pay

Employee shall be eligible to receive a Physical Fitness Incentive Pay equal to one percent (1%) of their monthly salary (after successful completion of a physical fitness test).

Longevity Incentive Pay

5th year: 3%

10th year: 4.5%

15th year: 5.5%

20th year: 6.5%

25th year: 8%

Specialty Incentive Pay

Detective:5% of monthly rate of pay

Corporal Pay:6.5% of monthly rate of pay

Range Master:2% of monthly rate of pay

Crime Prevention Officer:2% of monthly rate of pay

Traffic Officer:3% of monthly rate of pay

Special Operations Team:1% of monthly rate of pay

Field Training Officer:4% of base hourly rate of pay for hours when training

School ResourceOfficer:2% of monthly rate of pay

Bilingual Incentive Pay: 3% of monthly rate of pay

Benefit Information

Medical- choice of 3 plans (Regence or Kaiser) for employees and eligible family members including low employee premium share. Zero premium share for Employee only coverage or Employees who choose the HDHP with HSA.  In addition, the City funds up to $6,650 annually into an HSA.  

Dental/Orthodontia - choice of 2 plans (Delta and Willamette) for employees and eligible family members with $0 employee premium share.
